This is a last man standing or ’suicide’ league - I have already used 14 teams this year - we can only use each team once - in my estimation this is the toughest of the remaining three weeks - there appears to be some mismatches to take advantage of in weeks 16 and 17 IF IF IF I can get there - I need a WINNER in week 15 to move on - here are the 18 teams I have left to choose from, in no particular order:

Green Bay Packers
Atlanta Falcons
St Louis Rams
Baltimore Ravens
New England Patriots
Cleveland Browns
Oakland Raiders
Minnesota Vikings
Kansas City Chiefs
Denver Broncos
Houston Texans
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
Tampa Bay Buccanneers
Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions
Jacksonville Jaguars
New Orleans Saints

I’ll try to paste in the schedule below — as you’ll see - there are some good teams left - like Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Atlanta and Tampa Bay - but they’re playing each other … so here’s the schedule - I only have 11 hours to make my pick - any insight is appreciated …

Pats over the Raiders, ftw

Pistons! on 2 August, 2009 at 1:20 am #

Patriots.

I really can’t see Oakland beating them this week.

Good luck man…

Sgt. Pepper the Cubs fan on 3 August, 2009 at 9:09 pm #

I think the Vikings will win.

Eagles, Panthers, Patriots, and Colts seem to be sure bets.

I would go Colts if I were betting…….

Pathofreason.com2 on 5 August, 2009 at 9:14 pm #

I think it’s pretty obvious. There is no way the Colts will lose to Detroit

As much as I am a Patriot Hater and would just LOVE to see the Raiders whoop their A**, I think you have to go with the Damn Patriots this week. Good Luck!
P.S. I am rooting for the Raiders to upset.

Bet against the Bucs. They just got wasted on MNF and their defensive coordinator has lost his mind and decided to move to Tennessee. Bucs lose, guaranteed.

Guaranteed LOSERS will be the Lions lol.

I’d bet heavily on Jets over Bills.

Oklahoma City Slim on 15 August, 2009 at 10:59 pm #

NE is your best bet and then the Packers.

chaaalie on 16 August, 2009 at 9:50 pm #

cleveland to cover

big9 on 19 August, 2009 at 8:53 pm #

Patriots over Raiders
Eagles over Browns
Colts over Lions
The Chargers game looks tempting but its not wise to choose it.

Since you used the Colts and Eagles then go with the Patriots. I would mortgage my house on that game. No way Belicheck gets humiliated.

The Constant on 24 August, 2009 at 11:21 pm #

This one is easy
The Patriots over the Raiders all day long
Although they struggled last week at Seattle and they are playing on the road, I think they won’t underestimate the Raiders and with Moss coming back to the disaster that is Oakland I expect him to have a big day.
