I’m guessing that Goldberg’s popularity, along with many other powerhouses in wrestling, would probably be fifty-fifty in poll that has choices of like, and dislike because of how powerhouses are treated in wrestling (They can be cool to kids, but disliked by fans who favor actual wrestling over storytelling because they have a limited move set and despite there being a new one every two years, they seem to be the first in line to get a push). Myself, was not a fan of Goldberg. However, popularity aside, do you think this a fair statement: If Turner Broadcasting System was not located in Atlanta, and instead, was located in Los Angeles, Goldberg would not have become a wrestler. Consider this, Bill Goldberg played football, as a defensive tackle, at the University of Georgia, and later for the Atlanta Falcons for three years. Then, after not making it in football, he talked with WCW officials, while living in Atlanta, about getting into wrestling. So, is my statement arguable?

Goldberg is awsome! And Goldberg has a variety of move sets actually hes not like other powerhouses! Dont forget unlike otherpowerhouses he is a pure striker and his spear and jackhammer are dominant! Without goldberg WCW wouldnt be what it is known for today! Goldberg was also undefeated for a very very long time I think it was somewhere around 150-160 matches that he went undefeated through! He also plowed through evolution with a shattered ankle! One more thing goldberg is the only superstar were fans chant his name during his entrance! Goldberg Goldberg Goldberg
