Bad decisions, lousy team management, thug life players and losing for the next decade?

The only thing that could be worse would be the Georgiadome catches fire and leaves the Falcons without a place to play football.

it would seem so…just with less talent

You bring up a darn good comparison…but would the Georgiadome catching fire be worse…or better?

They are in such dire straights at the moment, picking up and moving that team might be the only way people won’t show up with bags on their heads.

On the other hand, we may all be jumping the gun a bit too soon. Sure they lost their QB and happen to have given up their back-up to Houston, but they could get a great QB in free agency (derek anderson is available) and start the groundwork for a comeback. They needed someone like Parcels in their talent discovery department, though. No one is better at picking gems in the 6th and 7th rounds like parcells. They need depth and development so they can be back up to mediocrity within a few years and back up to the elite in 8-10.

The Falcon players just plain quit, they raised the white flag at the start of the football season, rumors are that they even carry their own fat lady that sings

I’m beginning to think that Arthur Blank goes home and asks his wife every night, Do you love me, because he has had a lot of people lie to him lately.

Atlanta has quickly become a football graveyard. Coaches and players are avoiding the Falcons the way Superman avoids kryptonite.

A guy I work with may have said it best : Not only is there not a light at the end of the tunnel, we can’t even see the tunnel.

How can we have a second coming of the Cincinnati Bengals when the first coming is still here. Trust me being a Bengals fan the Bengals are right back to being the NFL doormat and it isn’t changing anytime soon. Losing for the a decade isn’t that bad, you should try losing for 17 years and I’m only 21. To answer your question NO I do not think the Falcons will be the Bengals or even a close second this is just one year. They do something the Bengals never have and that is spend money. Give them another 5 years and they will be good again.
