For the past few seasons, Michael Vick has been the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. Because of Dog Fighting Charges and a Guilty Plea, Vick is unable to play NFL Football for the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.
My question is, how do you see the Atlanta Falcons performing in 2007 without Michael Vick playing for the season?

If you were the Falcons GM what would you do to resolve this cancer of a problem called the QB position?
Personally, I’d do a sign and trade and give the Raiders the rights to Mike Vick’s contract for JaMarcus Russell. You know Al Davis is game! We’d just have to play around the numbers to make the deal financially feasible.
yackyz - you underestimate Al Davis! He’d do it. I mean JaMarcus is going to sit out the entire year anyway. He’d gamble that Vick wouldn’t get banned from the NFL and be able to play.

The team that has the worst record in the NFC South for the last couple of years the next year win the NFC South. Matt Ryan is going to have play like a superstar I believe for the Falcons to compete in this division.
